Job Title: Electronic Design Engineer

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is a leading provider of digital, cyber, and intelligence solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Design Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of electronic products, from productionisation to through-life management. As an Electronic Design Engineer, you will be responsible for applying digital, analog, RF, and mechanical engineering principles to identify improvements and rectify issues quickly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep technical understanding of our products and apply engineering principles to improve their performance.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, including testing, fault diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and ensure issue-free production.
  • Familiarity with electronic components and their in-circuit functionality.
  • Fundamental principles of software development and mechanical design.
  • Linux operating environment and scripting functions.
  • Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Requirements
  • On track to achieve/already achieved a 2:2 degree in a Science or Engineering discipline.
  • Graduated within the last 3 years.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
