Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced EC&I Technician to join our client, a leading chemical manufacturer based in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a stable sector leader, offering a competitive salary up to £45,600 per annum, plus overtime and call out pay.

To be successful in this position, you will need to have a HNC, HND or degree level qualification in electrical, electronic or control engineering. You must have in-depth knowledge of applicable legislation, including HaSaWA, COMAH, DSEAR, CompEx and relevant HSE Codes of Practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prioritize and carry out inspection, design, maintenance and testing in accordance with the planned maintenance management system.
  • Utilize your EC&I expertise to make a positive impact on the performance of the manufacturing plants.
  • Work on both a macro and micro scale, balancing the varied demands of internal customers on and off production units.
  • Manage a range of responsibilities, including implementing Process Improvement Techniques and effectively managing sub-contractors.
