We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our team, someone who shares our commitment to excellence and compassion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues specific to pediatric patients, educating parents and children on proper oral hygiene, and creating a supportive and engaging environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and Treat Pediatric Patients: Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnoses for children, developing personalized treatment plans to address their unique dental needs.
- Preventive Care and Treatments: Provide preventive care and treatments such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants to ensure optimal oral health for children.
- Treat Dental Conditions: Treat dental conditions such as cavities, misaligned teeth, and gum diseases in a gentle and compassionate manner.
- Educate Parents and Children: Educate parents and children on effective oral hygiene practices, empowering them to maintain good dental habits at home.
- Manage Emotional and Behavioral Challenges: Manage the emotional and behavioral challenges often associated with pediatric dental visits, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free experience for all patients.
- Collaborate with the Dental Team: Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure the best patient outcomes, sharing knowledge and expertise to provide exceptional care.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral Degree: Possess a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Pediatric Dentistry Residency: Complete a residency program in Pediatric Dentistry, demonstrating advanced skills and knowledge in pediatric dental care.
- Dental License: Hold a current dental license in the state of practice, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Experience Working with Children: Have experience working with children in a dental setting, understanding their unique needs and behaviors.
- Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, effectively interacting with patients, parents, and colleagues.
