We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist - Raw Materials to join our team at Fox's Burton's Companies. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our raw materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly quality checks on raw materials to ensure they meet company specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to prevent contamination and ensure the quality of raw materials.
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify and resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify the source of quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including procedures, forms, and records.
- Participate in internal audits and GMP audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Good standard of education (numeracy and literacy) either GCSE English & Maths (Grade A-C)/equivalent qualifications/equivalent experience.
- Food Safety Level 3 (Desirable).
- HACCP Level 3 (Desirable).
- Experience using computers - pivot tables/excel/word/PowerPoint/downloading photographs.
- Willingness to undertake training in - Pest Awareness/Chemical handling/Allergen/Internal Audits.
- Planning and organisation.
