About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Regional Plant Mechanic to join our team. As a Regional Plant Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in the success of our Region by supporting our depots to ensure that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of plant and tools within the GAP fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel across our regional depots and customer sites to identify and repair any faults or damage to equipment.
- Accurately update service records.
- Work effectively under pressure and demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Provide excellent customer service and work as part of a committed team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a plant mechanic/fitter role with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served.
- Sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance.
- A valid driving licence is essential.
