About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Professional to join our team at Exceptional Care, a leading provider of therapeutic children's services in the Northwest of England.

As a Residential Child Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 8-17 with complex needs, providing a safe and nurturing environment that fosters their emotional and physical well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to young people with challenging behavior and emotional behavioral difficulties
  • Develop positive relationships with children and young people, and work collaboratively with other agencies to ensure their needs are met
  • Contribute to a team environment that promotes consistency, stability, and a sense of belonging for young people

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 3 or 4 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification or equivalent
  • At least 6-12 months' experience working with children in a residential setting
  • A full UK manual driving license (preferred)
