Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, empowering them to achieve their goals and regain independence.
- Provide trauma-informed support, using a strengths-based approach to help families overcome challenges and build resilience.
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure comprehensive support and advocacy for families.
- Design and deliver engaging play sessions for children, promoting educational, recreational, and interactive opportunities.
- Support mothers with parenting skills, signposting them to external resources as needed.
- Address safeguarding concerns, reporting incidents to line managers and following relevant policies.
- Contribute to the development of a robust Service User Involvement (SUI) package, promoting events, networking, and fundraising.
- Engage children and young people in project development, exploring creative ways to facilitate their involvement.
- Establish strong relationships with statutory and voluntary organizations, ensuring effective collaboration and outcomes.
