We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Projects Control Engineer to join our team at Contract Scotland in Peterhead. The successful candidate will work on the Eastern Green Link 2 project and be responsible for creating and implementing the Project Control Execution Plan.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and implementing the Project Control Execution Plan, gathering information from contracts, strategy, and project details.
  • Supporting commercial teams and planning engineers in setting up work and cost breakdown structures and performance baselines.
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports showing planned, actual, and forecast performance compared to targets.
  • Managing financial aspects, including earned value, cost trends, and forecasting to ensure the project remains profitable.
  • Collaborating with Planning and Commercial Managers to align project controls with overall goals.
  • Helping manage changes to the project, predicting their impact on time and cost.
  • Ensuring project controls comply with FIDIC EPC and NEC contract requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Project Controller, Project Manager, or similar role on large infrastructure or energy projects. They will also possess strong knowledge of project management techniques, expertise in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, and strong analytical skills for interpreting financial and scheduling data.

In terms of salary, we are offering an annual salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 based on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in project control and contribute to the success of our team.
