Project Cost Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Project Cost Estimator to join our team at Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive cost estimates for a diverse range of projects, including social housing, fire protection systems, MOD sites, hotel fit-outs, and NHS sector developments.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project documents, drawings, and specifications to identify costs and potential challenges.
Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing and ensure alignment with project goals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive bids and quotations.
Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to the project team to ensure financial control.
Engage in value engineering discussions to identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining project quality.

Requirements:
Proven experience in estimating and quantity surveying, ideally within a main contractor environment.
Strong knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A proactive and positive attitude, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality work and continuous improvement.
Willingness to split time between the office and site initially, transitioning to hybrid working once comfortable.
