We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as the Assistant Shop Manager at M&S Opticians. As an Assistant Shop Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Optical and Hearing Practice while delivering industry-leading patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of optometrists, hearing aid audiologists, and optical assistants to ensure the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.
Ensure an exceptional customer journey by maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere, addressing patient inquiries and concerns, and ensuring timely and accurate service.
Pull the right levers to drive your store's KPIs, ensuring the store is profitable.
Drive brand awareness through in-store marketing activity and collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business strategies aimed at expanding the practice's patient base and market presence.
Requirements:
Proven experience in an optical role, preferably as a supervisor or team leader.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Solid understanding of practice operations, industry regulations, and business development.
Professional demeanor and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
