Job Title: Childcare Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Childcare Consultant to join our team at Dorset Councils. As a key member of our Children's Advice and Duty Service (ChAD), you will work closely with children, families, and partners to provide vital support and guidance.

About the Role:
  • Engage in varied and exciting challenges working with children and families.
  • Work closely with Family Help, MASH, and other partners to provide family support.
  • Be part of the Families First for Children Pathfinder, a nationally recognised initiative.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree/MA in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
  • A minimum of 4 years post-qualifying experience in Children's Services.
  • Commitment to a positive learning culture and innovative approaches to social care.
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £43,525 per annum, plus a generous relocation package of up to £8,000 tax-free. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including wellbeing support, professional growth opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

Location:

This role is based in Wareham, Dorset, with occasional travel required.
