Job Title: Apprentice Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Proactive Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring that all machinery is in good working order and that production runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems, using diagnostic techniques and tools to determine the root cause of issues.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring, motors, and pumps.
  • Collaborate with production staff to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that equipment is properly maintained and that production downtime is minimized.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a focus on maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring, motors, and pumps.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
