Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Engineer to join our team at Icomera's office in Chatham, UK. As a pioneer and global market leader in connectivity solutions for transport companies, we are looking for a talented individual to design, configure, test, and implement innovative ICT solutions according to customer requirements.
In this role, you will be part of the European Solution Engineering team, working on projects with our European customers, and traveling within Europe is expected. Your focus will be on developing solution concepts, supporting project work packages, and interacting with Icomera teams and customer project teams.
Key responsibilities include reviewing installation designs, creating configuration files, and documenting procedures for large-scale implementation. You will also hand over completed projects to service management and technical support staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in computer science or IT networks, or a background in IT network engineering. Strong LAN/WAN networking capabilities, Linux experience, and fluency in English are also essential.
