About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EW Systems Engineer to join our team in Stevenage or Bristol. As a key member of our Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Group, you will play a critical role in developing current and future EW Weapon Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the EW capability of weapon systems is fit for purpose, while meeting required timescales and budget.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders to deliver EW system design and integration.
  • Develop and maintain EW system requirements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company goals.
  • Work closely with the EW Group to shape and deliver the MBDA UK EW capability roadmap and Industrial Strategy.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering methods, toolsets, and processes.
  • Experience in weapon system systems design and validation, or complex system product development.
  • Experience working across the full engineering development lifecycle.
  • Experience in systems integration, Electromagnetic Countermeasures, and Electromagnetic Support/Surveillance systems.
  • Strong record of delivery, with experience in capability assessments and road-mapping.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in requirements management toolsets, such as DOORS.
