Job Title: Senior Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council. The ideal candidate will possess a qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline, with a strong interest and knowledge in drainage and/or Flood Risk Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and management of requirements under the Land Drainage Act 1991, Flood Risk Regulations 2009, and Flood and Water Management Act 2010.
- Manage flood risk activities, develop Local Flood Risk Strategies, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Supervise site investigations and projects, engage in flood alleviation schemes, manage the Tip inspection programme, and foster health and safety compliance.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council
