The Arthur Companies, Inc. is a leading agricultural business with a proud tradition of customer service excellence dating back to 1906. We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver - Product Transport to join our team and transport products for our organization. This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced CDL Class A License holder with a Medical Card to operate company-owned and/or leased trucks safely and efficiently. As a Truck Driver - Product Transport, you will be responsible for:
About the JobThis position involves operating company-owned and/or leased trucks, transporting product for The Arthur Companies, Inc. Key responsibilities include:
- Transporting products safely and efficiently from one location to another.
- Performing completion of all required reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA and company safety programs.
- Maintaining company property in excellent condition.
- Inspecting truck before and after trips, requesting repair as needed.
- Reading bill of lading to determine assignments.
- Securing trailer during transit.
- Assisting or individually responsible for loading or unloading of the truck.
- Service truck with oil, fuel and other required fluids.
- Driving applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
- Following all applicable traffic laws.
- Following accident procedures if an accident occurs.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A valid CDL Class A License with a Medical Card.
- Three years of driving experience preferred.
- An acceptable driving record.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a team player.
- The ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, stand or sit for extended periods of time, work in dust, open traps on trailers/trucks, and climb a ladder of varying heights.
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
