Electromagnetic Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electromagnetic Engineer to join our team at the Malvern Optical Facility on Pershore Airfield. As an Electromagnetic Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of EME and TEMPEST testing on military products and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
  
• Undertake EME and TEMPEST testing on military products and platforms
  
  
• Assist in providing consultancy support to clients in the EME field
  
  
• Conduct project-based research and development activities
  
  
• Work within a UKAS accredited or CPTAS approved environment
  
  
• Familiarity with RF communication networks is desirable
  
  

About You:

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in EMC and TEMPEST testing. You will have a proven track record of working in a business environment and will be able to provide consultancy support to clients.

Key Requirements:

• 
  
  
• Experience of EMC platform assessment, TEMPEST testing, radiation hazard testing
  
  
• Design of EMC testing regimes, measurement uncertainty analysis
  
  
• Experience of working with Government customers
  
  
• Good communication and presentation skills
