Toolmaker Expert

BMR Solutions Ltd is a dynamic company seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join its team. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and commissioning new jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will have completed an apprenticeship as a Mechanical Fitter, Machinist, or Toolmaker, or hold an NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. You should have hands-on experience with CNC lathe, CNC mill, and surface grinding. Experience with CAD, 3D modelling, and Inventor is highly desirable, as is a background in tooling design.

• Responsibilities:
• Designing and developing jigs and fixtures to optimize production efficiency
• Analyzing tooling issues and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborating with production teams to ensure daily targets are met
• Performing preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
