Established in Preston, a thriving city in the north of England, Purovets, an independent mixed animal practice boasting hospital status, is seeking a dedicated and passionate veterinary surgeon to join their team as a Night Veterinary Surgeon. With over 80 years of experience, they have been trusted caretakers of generations of family pets and livestock in the region.

This role offers a unique opportunity for a veterinarian to provide essential care to animals during the nighttime hours, working alongside a team of experienced veterinary surgeons, nurses, and administrative staff. The practice boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including digital x-ray, endoscope, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory.

The successful candidate will work a full-time schedule with 7 nights on and 21 consecutive nights off, providing flexibility and work-life balance. The initial contract duration is 6 months, with opportunities for extension based on performance.

As a Night Veterinary Surgeon at Purovets, you will be rewarded with a generous salary of up to £45,000, plus a CPD allowance and 4 days of paid annual leave. Additionally, professional fees are covered, and staff pet discounts are available. The company also offers a comprehensive pension contribution scheme, maternity/paternity leave, and VISA sponsorship.
