Job Overview

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to advance your career by joining a highly skilled team of Integrity Management Consultants and Engineers. The team is dedicated to providing Integrity Management solutions to clients across various industries worldwide. You will collaborate closely with a principal consultant on projects of varying sizes and complexities, focusing on enhancing safety and integrity for clients while adopting an agile methodology to discover innovative and efficient working practices. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Contributions
Execute detailed engineering and technical safety tasks to produce project deliverables efficiently and in compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. All outputs will be subject to review and approval by a principal consultant. Apply sound judgment on work details and standard methods. Prepare project documentation within your scope of deliverables.

Contract Oversight
Track contract progress against established milestones. Identify variation requests to support contract claims. Develop contract proposals that meet client specifications.

Planning and Control
Adhere to work plans and cost estimates within your area of responsibility. Ensure timely delivery of quality outputs within budget constraints.

Risk and Opportunity Management
Assist in risk assessments and implement resulting actions within your area of responsibility. Document and manage technical risks according to established mitigation guidelines.

Client Interaction
Address technical inquiries and advance actions for clients. Engage with all clients, colleagues, and contractors within your scope of deliverables.

Processes and Tools
Utilize standard processes, software, and tools relevant to your area of responsibility. Report inefficiencies in processes and tools, and propose ideas for enhancement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

  • Minimum 2:1 Degree in a relevant Mechanical Engineering field
  • Valid UK Driving License
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-driven individual with a commitment to career development

Desirable:

  • Engineering and operational experience in the High Hazard Oil, Gas & Chemicals sector
  • Associate or Chartered membership of a relevant institution, such as the Institution of Mechanical Engineers
