Trailer Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Stafforce Recruitment. This is a permanent vacancy with great opportunities to progress, offering a salary of £38,000 plus a £500 joining bonus and increased holiday entitlement.

Job Summary

As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing trailers to a high maintenance standard. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Carrying out roadside repairs and services on trailers
  • Carrying out brakes and suspension repairs
  • Inspecting trailers for works that may need to be carried out
  • 6 weekly inspections
  • Carrying out routine services
  • Being able to interpret and complete paperwork
  • Being approachable for our customers
Requirements

To be considered for the position of Trailer Mechanic, you must:

  • Have previous experience working on trailers
  • Be able to complete relevant paperwork
  • Be able to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
  • Hold a full UK Driving License
