Fleet Data Analyst Job Description
This position plays a key role in servicing and maintaining all fleet vehicles across Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue. As a Fleet Data Analyst, you will be working alongside a small but passionate team to achieve high standards in service delivery. Your primary responsibility will be to provide key data from our Fleet Management System, extracting important insights to help shape both workshop operations and strategic decision-making. You will also liaise with IT stakeholders and external suppliers, utilizing your understanding of Fleet Management systems to inform your work. An additional aspect of this role involves reporting into the Policy & Systems Officer, who will support and guide you in shaping data and reports to drive continuous improvement in the Joint Emergency Transport Unit. The ideal candidate will have some experience with data-rich systems, allowing them to contribute to strategic thinking across the fleet system and telematics systems. It is essential that the successful applicant has a strong foundation in GCSEs (Grade 9-4) including Maths and English, as well as an NVQ or A-Level in business management and/or data science. Desirable qualifications include computer science and statistics degrees or A-Levels.
