Mobile Cook

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients.

• Prepare and cook food to company standards, including breakfast, morning break, lunch, and hospitality.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including food safety, health and safety, allergen awareness, COSHH, and HACCP.
• Provide training and guidance to catering staff on food preparation and presentation.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the kitchen and service areas.
• Portion food accurately and efficiently to meet business requirements.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning duties as instructed by the line manager.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in hands-on cooking, with training in food hygiene and health and safety.
• Experience cooking for large groups, ideally in a school or similar setting.
• Ability to follow recipes and work with fresh produce and ingredients.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and ability to work under pressure.
• Professionalism and a positive attitude, with a focus on leading by example.
• Basic food handling skills certification.
