Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with strong Classic ASP experience to join our team at Endeavour Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using SQL Server 2008-2012.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new screens and functionality for internal systems using Classic ASP and SQL knowledge.
  • Implement transactional SQL/T-SQL changes to produce reporting data.
  • Develop and support SQL stored procedures.
  • Review and enhance existing jobs, procedures, reports, and third-party integration.
  • Collaborate with the Web Development team to integrate SQL with the Website(s).
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience of developing high-volume transactional databases for websites/systems.
  • Knowledge on how to implement Stored Procedures, Jobs, Functions, Triggers, Cursors, Views, and Indexing using SQL Server 2008-2012.
  • Full software development life cycle with strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing with T-SQL (Transact-SQL), VB/VB6, Classic ASP,.NET.
  • MS Office skills, especially Excel.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in the leisure or travel industry.
  • Creating software testing protocols.
  • SQL Server performance, configuration & maintenance.
  • Experience in financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of CLR and C#.
  • Experience of SSRS and data warehouses.
