The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Planner to join our team at RCC Carnforth. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in organizing the delivery of Aggregates & Asphalt across the North West.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and coordinate same-day and future deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials to clients.
  2. Liaise with internal teams to anticipate and mitigate potential issues, keeping clients informed of any changes to delivery dates or times.
  3. Negotiate haulage rates to optimize logistics operations.
  4. Maximize haulage efficiency by deploying resources to manage customer orders effectively, balancing business needs with customer requirements.
Requirements

You will be an organized and experienced logistics professional with excellent communication skills. You will have a strong understanding of logistics operations and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Ideally, you will have good geographical knowledge of the North West region.
