Job Overview

As a Cleaning Professional at Mitie, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service standards in the delivery of routine, planned, and periodic cleaning services to our customers. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the contract service delivery meets all SLA agreements while adhering to the cleaning schedules.

Main Duties

  • Successfully complete all required training to deliver the cleaning role.
  • Work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
  • Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness in line with the Contract and relevant SLAs, performing all daily, weekly, and periodic tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
  • Ensure the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.
  • Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well-maintained, and in a safe working order.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work specification and time allocated to facilities.
  • Have a comprehensive working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials, and approved chemicals used by Mitie.
  • Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

Requirements

  • Cleaning experience is preferred, but training can be provided.
  • Be reliable, hardworking, and possess a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team.
  • Capable of working to their own initiative where appropriate.
  • Be open and honest.
  • Be self-driven and determined.
  • Strive for continuous improvements in service delivery.
