Professional Finance Assistant Required
WorkForce Recruitment, a reputable B2B company based in Petersfield, seeks a skilled and experienced Finance Assistant to support various accounting functions and financial activities. This role offers a competitive salary of £26,000 - £28,000, based on experience, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Conducting daily and monthly bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy in records.
  • Assisting in processing payroll, ensuring all staff payments are calculated accurately and processed on time.
  • Processing staff expense claims, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with company policies.
  • Posting financial transactions to the general ledger, supporting the preparation of monthly and year-end reports.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized financial records, supporting internal audits and financial reporting.
  • Assisting senior finance staff in preparing monthly reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar finance role.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and basic data analysis skills.
