Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar and Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bar and restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure the bar and restaurant are clean, well-maintained, and meet high standards of quality and safety.
  • Monitor and control inventory, manage stock levels, and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve business objectives.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and achieve financial targets.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a bar or restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience in a hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and control.
  • Experience with marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
