Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering Tutor to join our team at Ask Recruiting Limited. As a Mechanical Engineering Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to our Level 3 Engineering Apprentices.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs on mechanical engineering knowledge and skills to apprentices in a classroom and on-site setting.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes British Values.
- Conduct reviews with apprentices and their employers to monitor progress and achievement.
- Manage a caseload of learners, recording progress and preparing them for End-Point Assessment.
- Complete sign-ups with new apprentices and their employers.
- Attend meetings with employers and stakeholders to discuss apprenticeship opportunities.
- Participate in recruitment activities, such as careers events and engineering taster sessions.
- Follow Internal Quality Assurance procedures.
Requirements:
- Nationally recognized qualification and occupational competence in mechanical engineering.
- Driving license.
- A1 Assessing Award or equivalent.
- V1 Internal Quality Assurance Award or equivalent.
- Recognized qualification for teaching in the Further Education sector.
- Proficiency in using IT systems and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
