Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Specialist to join our team at All Faiths Children's Academy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement. They will work closely with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils, promoting independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.

About the Role

  • Estimated Salary: £25,546 - £29,477 per annum
  • Provide support to pupils, individually or in groups, to access the curriculum and participate in learning
  • Work closely with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion among pupils
  • Cover and lead class teaching across the academy when appropriate, directing the work of other adults supporting learning

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A HLTA qualification would be desirable
  • Ability to support teachers in increasing the achievement of all pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
