Job Title: Automotive Paint Sprayer

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Paint Sprayer to join our team at e-ppl Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality paint finishes on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove rust and grease from metal surfaces and work areas.
  • Masks and protects parts not to be painted or coated.
  • Fills cavities and dents with putty to achieve a smooth surface.
  • Mixes paint according to specifications.
  • Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce the desired color.
  • Paints surfaces using a sprayer or brush as appropriate.
  • Inspects painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, fisheyes, sags, and unpainted areas.
  • Provides and uses spray guns safely and ensures tools remain in good condition.
  • Keeps work areas clean and maintains safety and health personal protective equipment.
  • Complies with laws and regulations regarding paint, thinners, and hazardous materials.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Spray Painter in a professional workshop environment.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • Flexibility to work under pressure and adapt to changing workloads.
  • Practical trade test will be conducted to assess proficiency and skill.
Benefits:
  • Hourly pay rate of £21 p/h.
  • Rotating shifts Monday to Friday 6.00am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm and 10pm till 6am.
  • Weekend overtime may be available.
  • Ongoing contract paid through limited company or umbrella company - Outside of IR35.
