Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters from inception to completion, including complex and high-value claims.
  • Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients, ensuring excellent client care throughout the process.
  • Draft legal documents, including letters of claim, pleadings, and witness statements.
  • Liaise with medical experts, counsel, and other parties as required.
  • Negotiate settlements and pursue cases to trial when necessary.
  • Maintain a high standard of file management and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be a 25-year post-qualification experience Clinical Negligence Solicitor with strong technical expertise in clinical negligence law, including knowledge of relevant case law and procedural rules. They must possess excellent client care skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Effective negotiation and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage a busy caseload while meeting deadlines and targets.

Requirements:
  • 25 years of post-qualification experience in Clinical Negligence.
  • Strong technical expertise in clinical negligence law, including knowledge of relevant case law and procedural rules.
  • Excellent client care skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills.
  • Able to manage a busy caseload while meeting deadlines and targets.
