Field Service Engineer, Scientific Instrumentation

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Field Service Engineer to join our team at a market-leading scientific instrumentation manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced service engineers from various electronics systems backgrounds, including ex-forces engineers with medical, dental, weapons, or radar experience.

The Role - Field Service Engineer, Scientific Instrumentation
  • This role involves providing technical support at customer sites, ensuring the smooth operation of sophisticated scientific instrumentation in pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.
  • You will be responsible for service, installation, repair, and calibration of high-value capital equipment.
Your Background - Field Service Engineer, Scientific Instrumentation
  • To succeed in this position, you must have a competent background in field service engineering within a high-value capital equipment environment.
  • A qualification in engineering, electronics, or a science-based subject to a minimum of ONC level is essential.
  • Applicants from diverse backgrounds, including laboratory devices, medical devices, pharmaceutical devices, ex-forces engineers, and other electronic or electro-mechanical sectors, are welcome.
  • Fully comprehensive product training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
