Talent and Learning Officer - City Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent and Learning Officer to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). As a key member of our Talent, Learning & Early Careers Team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance our talent management processes and support the growth and delivery of Talent, Learning & Early Careers across Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to support the growth and delivery of Talent, Learning & Early Careers across Birmingham.
  • Design and deliver learning programs to support Street Scene and enhance our mechanisms to support BCC to become a performance organisation.
  • Collaborate with the Talent, Learning & Early Careers Team to develop and implement early talent development initiatives, including Apprenticeships, Graduates, Work Experience, and placements.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to support the growth and delivery of Talent, Learning & Early Careers across Birmingham.
  • Work closely with the Disability and Learning Team to ensure that our talent management processes are inclusive and accessible to all.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in talent management, learning and development, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of talent management processes and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
