About the Role

As a highly skilled Optometrist at Asda Stores Ltd, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy and optical services.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality eye care services to our customers, including screening, coaching, and training the wider team.
  • Work closely with the Optical Manager to create an environment that combines clinical and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement new patient services to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Support the development of the department's culture and contribute to the creation of a memorable customer experience.
About You

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Optometrist who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and is passionate about developing new patient services.

You will be a fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC), a registered performer with your NHS area team or health board, and MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda).

You will also have a strong track record of meeting the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and be able to use your skills and passion for the role to deliver a memorable customer experience.
