Solicitor / Legal Executive

Sills & Betteridge Solicitors LLP is a well-established and highly respected law firm, renowned for delivering exceptional legal services across a variety of disciplines. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our Wills, Trusts & Probate team in Sleaford.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a small initial caseload that will grow over time, focusing on a wide range of private client matters, including taking instructions and drafting wills, preparing and managing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), handling grant applications and estate administration, preparing deputyship applications, and managing the affairs of elderly clients.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a legal team, demonstrating a client-focused approach and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Develop and maintain strong organisational, time management, and IT skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Solicitor / Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years PQE in Wills, Trusts & Probate (essential)
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- Client-focused approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality service
- Strong organisational, time management, and IT skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a legal team
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour
