Remediation Project Manager

We are AMS Contingent, a global workforce solutions firm that enables organizations to thrive in a rapidly changing environment. Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) is a key service offering, where we act as an extension of our clients' recruitment teams and provide professional interim and temporary resources.

Our client is a leading building society with headquarters in Swindon, serving 15 million members across the UK. We are seeking a Remediation Project Manager for a 6-month contract based in Swindon (hybrid).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Remediation projects through the full lifecycle, from inception to close-down, involving scoping, planning, managing, estimating, and delivering change.
  • Deliver and manage successful Remediation projects against agreed delivery plans, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Assess solutions linked to Remediation projects, ensuring they meet member needs and comply with regulations.
  • Identify and utilize the appropriate delivery methodology, ensuring deliverables are fit for purpose and enable defined outcomes.
  • Lead a team within the Delivery Management capability, working alongside Delivery Value to allocate resources effectively.
  • Remove blockers, proactively identify, communicate, and resolve risks and issues, and work with Delivery Value to assess and apply continuous improvement measures.
  • Capture, review, share, and enact lessons learned throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with colleagues inside and outside the Remediation CoE to ensure work is delivered on time, to the required quality, and aligns with CoE principles.
Requirements
  • Experience working on customer-led Remediation projects.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in change and readiness, including project management, inception, delivery, readiness, and demand planning.
  • Strong business acumen and experience working in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge and experience working with different change methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Proven experience working with stakeholders at different levels, including identifying, engaging, managing expectations, and communicating with confidence.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to challenge and influence where required.
  • Ability to grasp complex issues quickly and work with others to shape solutions, with a clear focus on detail and putting things right for members and customers.
  • Enthusiasm and a proactive, collaborative, and professional approach.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
