**Company Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in Kingsclere, Hampshire. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, preferably with experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will also possess excellent Excel skills and experience using Xero or other accounting software.

**Job Description**

As an Accounts Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the accounts payable inbox to ensure timely processing of invoices and expense claims.
  • Processing all purchase invoices and employee expense claims using Xero.
  • Working closely with budget holders to obtain necessary approvals for invoices and claims.
  • Ensuring all activities comply with internal policies and procedures.
  • Preparing and managing weekly and monthly payment runs to suppliers.
