About the Role

As a Sustainability Engineer at Arla Foods Deutschland GmbH, you will play a crucial role in driving our sustainability agenda and reducing our environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce our carbon footprint, water usage, waste generation, and energy consumption.
  • Lead the delivery of planned preventative maintenance programmes across complex equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive sustainability initiatives and promote best practices within the industry.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve our environmental performance.
What You Need

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong technical background in engineering, ideally with a recognised qualification in a related field. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and external partners.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Proven expertise in CMMS – SAP Maintenance Module and SCADA visualisations.
  • A strong commercial understanding of business operations and financial management.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
