We are currently recruiting for a number of SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a specialist primary school in Denbighshire on an ongoing supply basis.

The primary school offers a stimulating environment for children between the ages of 3 and 11 years old, who have a statement of Autism or related communication disorders as their primary need.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to fully support pupils with social and emotional needs in the learning process, working either 1:1 or supporting a small group of children, working closely with the Class Teacher.

Job Description

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Specialist primary school in Denbighshire

Salary: £20-25 per hour (dependent on experience)

Contract: Ongoing supply basis

You will be responsible for supporting the Class Teacher and pupils in day-to-day activities, including working with small groups of children aged 3-11. This will include covering playtime and lunchtime duties, supervising children at all times.

To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate patience and the ability to follow directions and policies.
