Salary
The annual salary for this role is £32,822, plus an Out of Hours Allowance of £1,500 p.a., paid once participating in the relevant rota. In addition, you will receive 31 days paid holiday plus bank holidays, flexible working arrangements, and a range of employee benefits.
Job Description
This role involves supporting and supervising 10-12 foster families to meet the complex needs of looked-after young people. You will work closely with foster carers, assessing their suitability and providing training and guidance as needed. As part of our Yorkshire & North East team, you will travel across the region to visit foster families and attend staff meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking a qualified social worker with post-qualifying experience in fostering or childcare settings. Essential skills include up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, group work and training delivery, and experience working with looked-after children and their foster carers.
