We are seeking an experienced professional to work as a Senior Specialist in our Audiology department, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent services.

About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term position as a Secondment band 6 Senior Specialist Audiologist. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic hearing assessments on children from 6 months to 25 years of age, including Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA), Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA), Performance testing, Speech testing, Otoscopy, Tests of middle ear function using tympanometry, and Otoacoustic Emissions.

You will identify when further investigations are necessary and make appropriate referrals in a timely manner. Additionally, you will work independently without supervision, providing clinical services directly to patients, creating individual rehabilitation plans, establishing rapport with patients, verifying and validating hearing aid prescriptions, and participating in audit and quality assessment tools.

  • BSc/MSc Audiology or equivalent qualification
  • Registration as one of the following: HCPC/RCCP/AHCS
