Job Title: Teacher of the Deaf and Mainstream Learners
Location: Waltham Forest, London
About Us:
Heathcote School and Science College is part of the North East London School Teaching Hub and the West Essex Teaching School Alliance.
We are looking for an experienced Teacher of the Deaf to teach our 16 deaf learners and ensure ambitious progress for these pupils. Our school aims to ensure our staff body reflects the diversity of our community and uses anonymised recruitment processes in our short-listing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support the inclusion of deaf learners in mainstream lessons and providing specialist 1:1 or small group sessions as needed.
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around £40,000 - £50,000 per year, depending on experience.
