We are a leading UK company in the air conditioning market, seeking a Senior Refrigeration Engineer to join our team in the Bristol area.

About the Role:

  1. As a Senior Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our customers, ensuring the efficient operation of their air conditioning systems.
  2. You will work closely with our sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop solutions to meet customer needs.
  3. With a strong background in refrigeration engineering, you will be able to analyze system performance, identify faults, and provide effective solutions.
  4. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, including detailed worksheets and log reports.

Requirements:

  1. F Gas category 1
  2. Clean Driving licence
  3. Willing to travel
  4. DBS check for all engineers
  5. Must be computer literate and able to utilise a tablet
  6. Experience of working with split, VRV & VRF systems
  7. Great attitude, willingness to learn and develop
  8. Fault finding experience
  9. A minimum of 5 years of industry experience
  10. L3 vocational qualification in refrigeration/engineering
  11. Capable of and willing to handle most service-related jobs independently
  12. Confident to approach most chillers and identify problems and provide definitive solutions for repair
  13. Confident to approach most refrigeration systems including splits and VRF/VRV systems and provide definitive solutions for repair
  14. Ability to deliver repair solutions and system improvements on site with all core refrigeration engineer skills, including working with electrics, control systems, rapid refrigerant movement, hot works, lift and shift
  15. Capable of and willing to attend any call out to any new site and confidently approach the task in hand and generally achieving a result
  16. Capable of providing informative and well written detailed worksheets and log reports and simple email reports to the office and where appropriate direct to customers in a timely manner
  17. Actively assisting, advising and providing on the job support and telephone support to all staff
  18. A solid understanding of how to analyse the refrigeration performance of refrigeration systems
