About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Care Connection. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in a comforting environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help clients with mobility and physical exercises to enhance their well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental wellbeing and reduce loneliness.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for helping others and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Previous experience in a UK care assistant or similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • A patient and compassionate demeanor, with a strong sense of empathy.
  • Relevant certifications or training in caregiving or healthcare is a plus.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
