Job Summary:

CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Street Scene Operative to join our team. As a key member of our cleansing and maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out the clearance of fly tipping, flyposting, dead animals, and other responsive requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use of mobile technology to identify and complete responsive requests from the public.
  • Clearance of fly tipping, flyposting, dead animals, and other responsive requests.
  • Reporting and removing fly tipping, flyposting, and dead animals identified during duties.
  • Covering weekend cleansing priorities as part of a rota, including cleansing of town centres and removal of fly tipping across the borough.
  • Reporting cleansing standards before and after work carried out.
  • Reporting graffiti identified during duties.
  • Working with the Environmental Enforcement Team to ensure evidence is captured and intelligence is shared.
  • Reporting accidents and near misses identified during the working day.
  • Carrying out Health and Safety checks on vehicles and dynamic risk assessments of work to be carried out.
  • Reporting vehicle defects to supervisors and in defect books.
  • Completing drivers' working hours logbooks.
  • Covering for other drivers, including mobile teams and inspection-based teams, when required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience of working as part of a team.
  • Experience of working in a service delivery environment or equivalent with good customer service skills.
  • A commitment to a high standard of service delivery.
  • Experience in using mobile technology solutions to report issues and complete work requests.
  • Good levels of personal fitness and the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2.
  • Full UK Clean Driving License.
