Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transport Operations Manager to join our team at Kinaxia Logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transport operations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan and coordinate the allocation of drivers, vehicles, and loads using state-of-the-art IT systems.
  2. Manage driver hours and ensure compliance with regulations through accurate timesheet management and audits.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
  4. Proactively identify and drive continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  5. Evaluate and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  6. Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of transport regulations (Highway Code, EU tachograph rules, Working Time Regulations, Road Transport Regulations).
  • Experience with transport management systems and understanding of logistics operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with health and safety practices in a transport or warehouse environment.
  • Logistics qualification desirable, but relevant experience is what counts the most.
