About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Hillingdon Manor School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students with Autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering lesson plans, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the needs of each student.
  • Support students with their emotional and physical needs, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging classroom activities, fostering a love of learning and encouraging students to reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system for students.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized education plans, working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure student progress.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with students with Autism or similar needs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the school.
