Youth Mentor

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Youth Mentors, working closely with young people in the care system. As a Youth Mentor, you will provide emotional support, guidance, and encouragement to help these young individuals reach their full potential.

About the Role:

1. You will be matched with a young person and meet with them regularly, engaging in activities and outings tailored to their interests.
2. Your role will involve providing a stable, consistent, and trusted adult presence in the young person's life.
3. You will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized support plans, ensuring each young person receives the care and attention they need.
4. As a Youth Mentor, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of these young individuals, helping them build confidence, self-esteem, and resilience.
5. Through regular training and support, you will gain valuable experience working with young people, developing your leadership skills, and expanding your professional network.

Requirements:

• Aged 18+ with a passion for making a positive difference in young lives.
• Ability to commit to regular meetings with your assigned young person.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

What We Offer:

• A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
