At Deichmann, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team in our Ashford store. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.



Key responsibilities include:



  • Approaching customers and providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
  • Serving customers at the till and processing sales transactions.
  • Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
  • Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
  • Ensuring the shop floor is always kept clean and tidy to a high standard.


Personal characteristics required for this role include:



  • A positive and can-do attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to approach and serve all customers.
  • The drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
  • Methodical approach to completing daily tasks.
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • The ability to work both individually and as part of a diverse team.


This is a part-time, permanent position, and you will be contracted to work 8 hours per week. If you have energy, drive, and passion to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment, this is the role for you.



At Deichmann, we offer a competitive hourly rate of up to \u00a311.64 per hour, plus non-contractual, hourly sales commission. We also offer fantastic opportunities for you to grow and develop within your retail career.
